Running wheel for hamsters

As a rule, however, we recommend using wheels with a diameter of 33 cm or more for gold hamsters and teddy hamsters, as this prevents the scissor effect that can affect the rodent's spine.

If you keep a larger group of coloured mice, you should seal the cork layer with some "toy varnish", so-called DIN 71-3 clear varnish, so you can simply wipe the cork out with a damp cloth.
