Species-appropriate running wheel for gerbils

Often it is the wrong running wheels for ger bils that are in use, so many still have running wheels in use with a grid running surface, however this can pose a huge risk of injury, so it is better to go for a running wheel with a closed running surface. We only make wheels with a closed tread and back. Furthermore we use a high quality ball bearing which makes the wheel run as smooth as butter.

Running wheel for chinchillas

Chinchillas are nocturnal and incredibly cute rodents, but you should not underestimate how much urge to move these cute rodents have. To satisfy this urge, you should provide your chinchillas with running wheels. We recommend either the Getzoo Ø 33 cm cork wheel or the Getzoo Ø 42 cm cork wheel . With both wheels for chinchillas you are well served. The running surface is made of soft cork, so the paws of the rodent are particularly protected. Furthermore, there is no scissor effect due to the size and the spine of your rodent is protected.

Degus are bigger rodents but they have just as much energy which they would like to get rid of. For this purpose the cork wheels from Getzoo are ideal. The Getzoo Ø 33 cm cork wheel and the Getzoo Ø 42 cm cork wheel are recommended for degus. The high quality running surface and the closed back of the wheel make your animals feel particularly comfortable. For additional safety, the ball bearing of the wheel is hidden so that the tail of the degus cannot get caught in it. If you have several animals, you should of course use several wheels to avoid disputes.
