Getzoo wheel: Cork inserts

Cork is a natural and also rather soft material that is easy on the paws and joints of persistent runners. At the same time, it provides the necessary grip so that hamsters and mice can run safely without accidents. It has thus proven itself as an insert for running wheels. But the layer of cork often does not last as long as wheels made of wood or plastic. That's why we now have a replacement. We have developed the inserts especially for our wheels so that they fit perfectly. They are fixed precisely in the wheel. The lower side is made of a food-safe, flexible plastic. This makes it easy to insert the insert into the wheel and you can remove, clean or change the cork as needed without much effort.
