Grass nests & nibble houses are true all-rounders

They serve as hiding places, snacks and, depending on the model, as a cosy place to sleep. Often they are even filled with hay as a precaution.

Many grass nests can be hung up, even if they do not have a separate fastening. A metal hook, for example, is quickly threaded into it, then it can also be attached to the cage lid or to its own suspension in the rodentarium. The little hiding place can even be turned into a swing.

The little shelters are available in a wide variety of materials. However, most small rodents do not use the hay they contain as food, but use it to build their nests. It can therefore happen that they empty it out in order to move it to another hut, but this does not have to be the case.
