Since 2008, we have made it our business to produce species-appropriate and high-quality small animal accessories. The well-being of your pets is especially close to our hearts, which is why all our products are lovingly handcrafted, supported by the latest technology, in a family-run business in Germany. Our durable wooden products are adapted to the natural needs of the individual animal species, carefully thought out and precisely and cleanly implemented. The health of the animals is particularly important to us, which is why we work exclusively with high-quality materials and do not use nails, staples, or toxic varnishes and adhesives. Each product is unique and comes from the heart.

Our philosophy at Getzoo

Love and security are two important feelings without which no one can be truly happy. But this does not only apply to humans. Rodents also need affection in order to live a good life. The Getzoo team wants to make sure that the little ones feel love even when we are not present.

Own production

The Getzoo products are made from a natural product, therefore we cannot influence the colours and grain of the wood. Each accessory is therefore unique! Small colour variations, knotholes and structures in the wood, as well as slight processing marks due to the high degree of manual work are normal and unavoidable. However, we do not use any coniferous woods in the production, which could be harmful to the rodent.

We use the latest CNC technology in the production process to ensure that all our products meet the same quality standards. We remove small splinters in the finishing process. We do not use any sources of danger such as staples or nails at all. This completely eliminates the risk of injury to small animals from nails or screws.

Cooperation with breeders and clubs

We have been working for years with animal welfare initiatives and associations (e.g. Hamsterhilfe NRW e.V., Hamsterbacken, Langohrwelt, etc.) on our products in order to make them species-appropriate. This helps us to constantly develop our products and make them as rodent and customer friendly as possible.
