Food as an adventure

So that our little furry friends don't get bored and don't only get their food served in a bowl every day, you should put, stick or hang the Getzoo sunflower heads in the enclosure as a change. Your pet will work hard to get the seeds, just like in nature. Our whole sunflower heads have a hole in the middle for drying reasons - this can be used as a practical suspension.

With nature as a model

In the natural habitat, all rodents work out their own food. The seeds have to be painstakingly collected from various grasses, panicles, cobs, flax and ears of corn. Many animals snack on the tasty seeds directly on site, others collect them completely for their bunker.

The sunflower heads are harvested by hand and, depending on the product, gently prepared for drying. We try to prevent the seeds from falling out by harvesting them at the ideal time. The sunflower heads can vary in size.

Feeding recommendation: Depending on the weight of the animal, offer ad libitum or as an occasional treat.
