Food as an adventure

So that our little furry friends don't get bored and don't just get their food served in a bowl every day, you should put the flakes in the enclosure or spread them out well as a change. Your darling will work hard to get the seeds, just like in nature. This is not only particularly species-appropriate, but also an optimal activity. The pumpkin flakes are supplied in a resealable bag from which you can also take small quantities, e.g. as a treat.

With nature as a model

In the natural habitat, all rodents work out their food themselves. The seeds have to be painstakingly worked out or collected from various grasses, panicles, cobs and ears of corn, including the pumpkin flakes. Many animals snack on the tasty seeds directly on the spot, others collect them completely for their bunker.

Feeding recommendation: Depending on the weight of the animal, offer ad libitum or as an occasional treat.
