Our products are designed to support the species-appropriate keeping of your animals: With a base area of 31x 31 cm and a height of 13 cm, the Luna corner house offers enough space for your favourite rodent. Both the size of the house and the entrances have been tailored to the natural needs of the animals. Spacious and cosy inside, it offers a spacious three-chamber system in which your rodent can choose his own sleeping place or storage chamber as he likes - just like in a natural hamster burrow. The removable roof allows for trouble-free nest control.

Claw care like in nature

In the wild, the nimble rodents run over hill and dale and extend their burrow - here, the claws shorten by themselves. Therefore, the natural wear and tear of the claws is usually neglected in the enclosure. With the corner house with slate, you offer your favourite rodent the possibility to care for the constantly regrowing claws in a natural way while walking over them, thus avoiding complications that can cause overly long nails.

A corner house for all rodent species?

The Getzoo corner houses are suitable for solitary animals like hamsters, but also for animals that prefer to live in groups. This is because solitary hamsters love to hide the food they collect in their cheek pouches in their burrow, and use the second, additional chamber of the house for this purpose. Rodents that live in groups, such as gerbils, use the different chambers as sleeping bunks. This way they can avoid each other in case of small disagreements.

Why a removable roof?

Most small rodents carry food supplies such as fruit into their dens. This food can spoil and must then be removed. With a removable roof, this is done quickly and the small rodent is not disturbed because you do not have to lift the whole house. In addition, the nest can be controlled without disturbance, should there ever be offspring.
