Have you heard? At www.getzoo.de there are new types of food and more are being added all the time. In addition to mice food, hamster owners were also surprised with new food varieties. Some team members and users of the hamster bakery had the pleasure of testing the varieties before they went on sale.
We found the concept of "using nature as a model" particularly positive.
The ingredients are adapted to the natural habitats of the hamster species and their diet.
The Getzoo Golden Hamster Food is beautifully colourful, not too fine, not too coarse and smells aromatic. A particularly positive feature is that it does not contain any puffed or processed products. Instead, a base of original cereals, fruits, vegetables and plants that are also found or cultivated in Syria has been used.
Pistachios and melon seeds in the food are probably an absolute speciality.
The Getzoo dwarf hamster food is very fine and easy to dose. When you open the package, you are greeted by delicious herbal aromas. The small flowers make the food beautifully colourful. Here, too, it is particularly positive that no processed products, sugary ingredients (fruit, vegetables,...) or cultivated cereals are included. The base consists of numerous grass seeds, as they would also be found in nature. Here, too, a special feature can be noted: Unlike many other feeds, the animal protein is only used as worms and larvae and not from aquatic animals. In addition, small high-quality pine nuts are added as a fat-rich seed.
In summary, we testers from the Hamsterbacken team can only report positive things:
- The food has a natural concept
- The varieties are eaten well and with pleasure
- The smell and appearance is also appealing to us hamster mums and dads.
- Both varieties are rich and nutritious
- The packaging is chic & resealable!
- The price of 4.85€ for half a kilo is good value for money!
