Black Cork Granules 10L medium (2-9 mm)

Baking cork granules made from expanded, granulated natural cork. Ideal for all rodent species such as chinchilla, degu, colour mouse, golden hamster, guinea pig, gerbil or dwarf hamster for decorating and handicrafts as an alternative to bathing sand in a sand bath. Black cork granulate consists of granulated, expanded natural cork. For this purpose, crushed bark of the cork oak is baked at high temperature. The high processing temperature (350 °C) causes the individual cork grains to expand, which is why we also speak of (pure) expanded baked cork.
