They also serve perfectly as a hiding place, retreat or shelter for sleeping. Our cork tunnels are made from natural cork bark from the cork oak tree with no slit / seam. Cork is one of the most popular furnishings for natural enclosures. The cork tunnel is made of 100% natural material and can be nibbled on without hesitation. Hamsters, gerbils and co. can thus care for their incisors, which are constantly growing and need to be worn down. Our cork tunnels have been disinfected at over 65°C, so washing them out is no longer necessary.
