Apple chips as a living food experience

Instead of always presenting the daily food in the same bowl, you can hide or scatter the apple chips in the enclosure for a change. This makes the feeding experience more exciting for our little pelt-noses and encourages natural behaviour - they have to work for their food as they would in the wild. This is not only species-appropriate, but also provides excellent employment.

The dried apple chips come from high-quality cultivation in Germany and are supplied in a resealable bag. This means you can also take out smaller quantities as a special treat.

Inspired by nature

In their natural environment, all rodents search for and collect their food themselves. They have to carefully extract or collect their food from a wide variety of grasses, panicles, cobs and ears of corn. Many animals snack on the delicious seeds right on the spot, others hoard them in their hiding place.

Feeding instructions: Depending on the size and weight of the animal, the apple chips can be offered either ad libitum or as an occasional treat.
