General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope
These GTC apply to all contracts concluded between a consumer or entrepreneur and Getzoo regarding goods and/or services presented in the online shop. The customer's own conditions are hereby rejected unless otherwise agreed.
2. Conclusion of the Contract
2.1 The product descriptions in the online shop do not constitute binding offers.
2.2 By submitting the order form, the customer submits a binding contractual offer.
2.3 The seller accepts the customer's offer within one business day by sending an order confirmation in text form (email).
3. Contract Language, Storage of Contract Text
The languages available for concluding the contract are German and English.
4. Right of Withdrawal
4.1 Consumers have a right of withdrawal.
4.2 Further information regarding the right of withdrawal can be found in the seller's cancellation policy.
4.3 The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if the seal was removed after delivery.
5. Prices and Payment Conditions
5.1 All stated prices are final prices including statutory VAT. Additional shipping and delivery costs as well as customs duties for exports are specified separately in the product description. Customers are responsible for verifying customs regulations of their respective countries.
5.2 Payment methods:
- PayPal: PayPal balance, credit card, direct debit, installment payments. A credit check by PayPal is required. PayPal’s Terms and Conditions

- AmazonPay: Using payment methods stored in your Amazon account. AmazonPay’s Terms and Conditions
- Purchase on Invoice for Companies: Payment terms according to the invoice.
6. Delivery and Shipping Terms
6.1 Delivery is made to the delivery address provided.
6.2 Shipments are made via DHL; for commercial customers, freight shipping is also possible, selecting the most economical shipping option.
6.3 If delivery fails, the customer shall bear the costs, unless the customer exercises their right of withdrawal or was temporarily prevented from accepting the delivery.
7. Retention of Title
The goods remain the seller’s property until full payment has been made.
8. Warranty and Guarantees
8.1 Liability for Defects
The statutory liability for defects applies.
8.2 Guarantees and Customer Service

9. Redemption of Promotional Vouchers
9.1 Promotional vouchers can only be redeemed during the specified period in the seller's online shop.
9.2 Certain products may be excluded from promotional voucher offers.
10. Redemption of Gift Vouchers
10.1 Gift vouchers can only be redeemed in the online shop.
10.2 Gift vouchers and any remaining credit can be redeemed until the end of the third year after the voucher purchase date.
11. Applicable Law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. For consumers, this choice of law only applies insofar as mandatory provisions of the law of the country where the consumer has their habitual residence do not restrict the protection granted.
12. Alternative Dispute Resolution
The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/odr. We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute settlement procedures before a consumer arbitration board.
13. Return Policy
13.1 In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, we offer a 30-day return policy.
13.2 The return period is 30 days from the day the customer took possession of the goods.
13.3 The customer bears the costs for returning the goods unless the delivered goods do not correspond to what was ordered.
14. Transport and Transport Damage
If goods arrive with obvious transport damage, please immediately report this to the delivery person and promptly contact us. Failure to report or contact us has no consequences for your statutory claims or their enforcement, but it helps us assert our own claims against the carrier or transport insurance.
