Who is behind Getzoo.de?

The company Getzoo has been an established brand since 2008 and has been a regular supplier to many online shops and pet shops in North Rhine-Westphalia for a long time. We produce species-appropriate rodent accessories with the co-operation of breeders and clubs. You can find more information about us under: About us.

Do you have a shop?

No. We are purely an online retailer and currently do NOT offer collections from us.

Is there a newsletter?

If you would like to be informed about discount promotions and the like, you can subscribe to our newsletter. This is independent of the customer account. The newsletter registration can also be carried out without a corresponding customer account, you will find a corresponding option at the bottom right of every shop page. If you have a customer account, you can also log in via the menu item"My account".


Order


Do I have to create a customer account to order from you?

No, you can choose during the ordering process whether you would like to create an account, log in to your existing account or whether you would prefer to order without registering.

What are the advantages of a customer account?

Your address is saved in a customer account so that you don't have to enter it every time you place an order. You can also create a watch list, for example if you want to order a product more frequently, so you don't have to search long for your favourite product. You can also view your previous orders here. If you want to delete your customer account, you can also do this easily in your customer account.

Are discounts only available with a customer account?

No, but the loyalty discount can be combined with many different vouchers such as 5% for product reviews or 10% for their birthday.

Will I be spammed with adverts if I create a customer account?

No. To create a customer account, you need an e-mail address that will be used to confirm orders placed via the customer account. You can also request a new password for your customer account, which will also be sent to you by e-mail; otherwise you will not receive any e-mails about your customer account. If you would like to be informed about discount campaigns and the like, you can subscribe to our newsletter. This is independent of the customer account.

Can I change my order at a later date?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change your order at a later date. You can only cancel your entire order as long as it has not yet been dispatched. To do this, simply log in to your customer account, go to Orders and there you have the option of cancelling the order.

Can I combine several orders into one?

Please understand that this is no longer possible once you have submitted your orders.

How can I cancel my order?

You can only cancel your entire order as long as it has not yet been dispatched. This means that as long as the order does not have the order status "Completely completed", you can cancel your order yourself. To do this, simply log in to your customer account, go to Orders and there you have the option of cancelling the order under the order number.


Delivery


How do I know when my parcel will be dispatched?

Once the parcel has been handed over to DHL, you will receive an e-mail with your consignment number. This allows you to check online on the evening of the same working day where your parcel is currently located.

I enter the parcel number and cannot find my parcel, what can I do?

The parcel will only be scanned by the parcel service a few hours after collection and only then will the number be visible online. Please try again a little later.

I have received the wrong item. What should I do?

The quickest way for us to help you is to use the contact form. You will usually receive an immediate response to your complaint without a long wait.

Can I have my order sent to a packing station or post office?

We can deliver your parcel to a Packstation of your choice on request. It is also possible to have your order sent to a nearby post office. Please enter the desired Packstation or post office as the delivery address in the order process.

What are the shipping costs?

You can find the current shipping costs on the corresponding page about shipping.

Can I have the parcel delivered at a specific time?

You have the option of selecting a preferred day; this DHL service costs you one euro more, but you can then specify the exact day on which your parcel is to be delivered.

Is express delivery available?

Express delivery is not yet possible. However, we dispatch all orders on the next working day at the latest if the product is available.

How long is the delivery time? Where is my parcel?

We usually dispatch the item on the next working day. Your order should therefore be with you within 1-3 days. If a parcel takes longer than 5 working days, please contact us. The quickest way for us to help you is to use the contact form. As a rule, you will receive an immediate response to your complaint without a long wait.

Who delivers my items?

We want you to be satisfied with the delivery of your order, which is why we work with DHL.

What if I am not at home?

If you are generally difficult to reach at home, we offer you the option of having your order delivered to a different delivery address (e.g. to work) or to a parcel shop. In general, our senders will make several attempts to reach you using the address provided. You can also specify a desired location with DHL as soon as the parcel has been dispatched.

Until when can I return the item?

You have the option of returning the goods to us within 30 days of receipt.

What do I need to bear in mind when sending a return?

The item must be returned undamaged and without signs of use.

Who bears the costs of the return?

If you make use of your right of cancellation, you bear the direct costs of returning the goods. In the event of a warranty claim, the return is always free of charge. Where can I find the returns slip?

If you make use of your right of cancellation, you bear the direct costs of returning the goods. If you use our return label to send the parcel to us from Germany, we must deduct the costs from the credit note. Either use the return slip that was sent to you by e-mail or simply create a new one here.

Payment methods


Can I buy on account?

Yes, you also have this option in our online shop. When you complete your order, you will be automatically redirected to the PayPal or Klarna page to confirm your details. The invoice amount will be paid to PayPal or Klarna on the due date and you will receive all further information in the confirmation email. You do not need a PayPal account for this. Can I pay with my credit card?

You can pay conveniently and securely with your VISA or MasterCard in the Getzoo online shop. Thanks to 256-bit encryption and SSL certification, your data is treated with the highest level of security currently available. When you complete your order, you will be automatically redirected to the PayPal site to make the payment. You do not need a PayPal account for this. Can I pay by direct debit?

In the Getzoo online shop, you have the option of paying for your order by direct debit. This requires a German bank account. When your goods are dispatched, PayPal or Klarna will debit the invoice amount from your account. When you complete your order, you will be automatically redirected to the PayPal site to make the payment. You do not need a PayPal account for this. Can I pay by GiroPay?

With giropay, you can pay simply, quickly and securely in the online banking of your participating bank or savings bank. You will be forwarded directly to your bank's online banking, where you authorise the transfer by entering your PIN and TAN. The payment is processed directly via your current account and your account information is not passed on to us or to a third-party provider.

Can I pay by instalment purchase?

All payment transactions are processed by Klarna GmbH. With Klarna financing, you can shop today and divide your costs into fixed or flexible instalments for up to 24 months. You can opt for Klarna instalment purchase directly at the checkout or select the instalment payment option for your order in the Klarna app (if listed). Where can I find the bank details?

If you need our bank details, you will receive them on the invoice.

Can I pay by cash on delivery?

No, we no longer offer the payment method surname! However, you have a large number of other payment methods in our shop.

How does PayPal work?

PayPal is a service that makes online payments simple and secure. Once you have created a free account with PayPal, you enter your bank details or credit card details and then log in to your PayPal account to pay without having to enter your details with the sender of the goods. How does AmazonPay work?

With Amazon Pay, you can pay using the payment and shipping information from your Amazon customer account. This makes shopping with us quick, easy and secure. If you use Amazon Pay, you do not need to set up a customer account, but can pay directly with the data from your Amazon account. Simply click on the Pay via Amazon Pay button in the shopping basket. You can then select the desired payment method (e.g. credit card or direct debit) and select the shipping address from your data stored with Amazon and complete the purchase with us.

A product is currently no longer in the shop. When will it be available again?

Products that have a longer delivery time are labelled accordingly in the shop. For products that are sold out for longer, you have the option of being informed. You will then be notified by e-mail as soon as the item is available again.

What does 'Image similar' mean in the pictures?

The Getzoo products are made from a natural product, so we cannot influence the colours and grain of the wood. Every accessory is therefore unique! Minor colour impacts, knotholes and structures in the wood, as well as slight traces of processing due to the high degree of manual work are normal and unavoidable.
