Bathing sand for chinchillas as well as hamsters, gerbils, degus and many other rodents is essential for species-appropriate animal husbandry. Most animals use sand to groom their fur, as it penetrates the fur well and removes impurities. Of course, sand is also often the choice for corner toilets for hamsters. The Getzoo bathing sand has been specially developed for small steppe and desert dwellers. The sand consists of 100 % sepiolite sand and is extremely well tolerated by all rodents.
Hugro Cotton litter, hemp litter and many other types of litter Hugro
Hugro offers a first-class selection of different types of litter, the Hugro cotton litter is ideal for either mixing with the litter itself or providing it for hamsters, mice and co. for a cosy den or a pleasantly warm house. The Hugro natural litter is hemp litter and is therefore very suitable for allergy sufferers and does not easily get caught in long-haired animals, making it ideal for teddy hamsters and long-haired rabbits.
Hugro Nagerfloor as the perfect underlay for rodents
The Hugro Nagerfloor is also very popular, as it can be placed in the enclosures of hamsters, mice, guinea pigs, rabbits etc., making cleaning much easier. Some customers also stick the Nagerfloor to stairs to make it easier for rodents to climb or as a base for under the running wheel to make it quieter, although this is of course not necessary for the Getzoo running wheels.
